Our Mission

The Sachem Education Foundation enhances the quality of public education through innovation in our school buildings, focusing on programs that extend beyond the normal scope of the curriculum. This is achieved through community engagement and the compassion of generous people who understand the value of education and embodying the “We Are Sachem” community spirit. The Foundation’s vision is to offer Kindergarten through 12th grade opportunities and showcase Sachem Schools as a place of educational equity, innovation, and scholarship.

Sachem Education Foundation Board

The Sachem Education Foundation Board of Directors is an all-volunteer group that dedicates its time and talents to investing in students' success in our district. 

Each member is elected to a one-year term. 

Elections are held each January to fill positions, and meetings are held about six times during the school year (September through May).
